Politician ka daw?

Check-up time: 11:38 pm

Politician ka ba?

PURO ka kasi SALITA, PURO ka DADA WALA NAMANG GAWA...

The original pick-up line came from Senyora SantibaƱez's (@DonyaAngelica) twitter account. I just added the last line to put more emotions on this pick-up line... May pinagdadaanan lungs...

    1. Mommy Joy you're so full of positivity. Kung ikaw naging nanay ko, lagi siguro kita aawayin kasi puro negativity ako, pero siguro lagi ka din magiging matiisin dahil sobrang positive ng kalooban mo. hehehe....

  5. " I do not deny that my heart greatly desired to ask what you offer. For many long years I have pondered what I might do, should the Great Ring come into my hands, and behold! it was brought within my grasp."

Quoting a passage from The Lord of the Rings, when Frodo tried offering the One Ring to Lady Galadriel.

Power is one of the most beautiful, fragile, and precious commodity nowadays. It comes in for a very high price, and it will consume you and demand your life.

I feel the same way as the character Galadriel- i have pondered many ways on what I would do if I ever place my posterior on a seat of power. It is not greed, but I do understand the importance of authority and influence to get things done and get things moving.

Power itself is not evil, but what lies in the hearts of men.

It's no secret to friends and foes- since I was a youngster, I have greatly desired to be in the halls and chambers of power where the most illustrious and valiant dwelt and walked.

Politicians are that breed of individuals whom I consider, in my twisted point of view, admirable stars, however apparent their ugliness may be.

I've always wanted to be one of them and be with them. I chased after the privileges, the fame and notoriety and attention, and its elating air. I was so determined to enter Congress, seriously. I considered the families and the connections. I had my life planned and have set out the blueprints on how to reach the high peaks of glory.

But God in his wisdom, has pulled me down from my seat of pride, and crushed me dearly, in loving mercy. Now I see, now I understand.

It's not worth to be a politician. But the people need servant-leaders.

I still believe that there are still honest and valiant people in those treacherous halls and palaces, who are fighting their way to push forward the people's pleas and voice.

We hate these politicians, but what do we do? Do we fearlessly speak out our minds and stand on the grounds of truth, even when the malice and treachery of mere men try to overshadow the golden light of justice?

The power to put down these people are in our hands, in our words, and in our deeds.

Remember what the beloved Constitution said before all principles and precepts were laid down- "We, the sovereign Filipino people, imploring the aid of the Almighty God, in order to build a just and humane society and establish a government that shall embody our ideals and aspirations, promote the common good, conserve and develop our patrimony, and secure to ourselves and our posterity the blessings of independence and democracy, under the rule of law and a regime of truth, justice, freedom, love, equality, and peace, do ordain and promulgate this constitution."

We set the rules. We can't allow those bastards to do sh*t.

Sabi nga nila, it's not the people in the system that has a problem. It's the system itself that needs to be dealt with.
Hay Pinas, hanggang People Power na lang yata talaga?
